i heart faces: phone photo

If you have followed my personal blog, than you know that I have been entering the i heart faces photo challenges when I can. I thought it more appropriate to move it over to this blog. This weeks challenge was phone photo. I love the Hipstamatic ap on my iPhone.

fifty two on friday: innocence

I am jumping on the bandwagon and following 18 other photographers on their journey to take one picture a week each with a different theme.   There is list of 52 “ideas or themes” they have to shoot each week for the year. Each photographer will take a picture of the theme for the week, the way they interpret it, and post it on their site.  Then under the post, they will link another photographer who is part of the project for you to see her interpretation of the theme. After you see hers, you will notice a different link under her picture that will then take you to the next photographer’s website.  If you continue to click on the link under each picture, in the end you should see 18 other pictures and eventually make it back to the site where you originally began. I am not a part of this group of 18 photographers, so I won’t know the theme until they post it on Friday morning. There is some talent in this group. If you would like to follow along with them a good place to start is at The Red Balloon Photography

meet lola

This is Lola. She is my new best friend. She goes with me a lot of places. My sister gave her to me as a Christmas gift. I was carrying around my camera and lenses in a bag that was much too small. I had to wrap one of the lenses in diaper to keep it safe. It was time for an upgrade. I’ve had my eye on this beauty for a while and was like a giddy little girl awaiting its arrival. She is an Epiphan!e bag. I believe my sister had a good experience with this company in terms of customer service, timely responses and delivery. I love, not only the outside and it’s purselike look, but the functionality of the inside. It holds my camera body, two lenses, flash (in it’s case), battery charger, extra battery and I still have room for more. I can move the dividers around so it fits to my equipment. I highly recommend you check out http://www.epiphaniebags.com to see what other bags they have.
